Dr. Ja’La Wourman

As an assistant professor I teach writing courses focused on content strategy, branding and design,. I research and publish scholarship centered around Black Entrepreneurship, African American rhetoric and design in media and digital content.

I’ve worked with individuals and organizations to help them with their writing, editing and strategizing needs. I use my professional journey to work alongside committed individuals to guide them as a mentor and coach on their journey to success.

I use my background and expertise to speak on a range of topics from empowerment, life-skills, digital media and culture, and more.
